"Success seems to be connected with action.
Successful people keep moving. They make
mistakes, but they don't quit."
~ Conrad Hilton ~

CREATING
MOMENTUM
Momentum starts by creating a map from where you are
to where you want to be. This is the essence of Living by Design.
We start with what we really want. It is important
to acknowledge our desires, even if a part of us doesn’t believe having
what we want is possible. Wanting what we want is part of our current
reality - and pretending we don’t want what we want suppresses our
creativity.
So start here . What do you want? Or even more
powerfully stated is: "What results do you want to create."
Remember - living the life of a creative person is manifesting that which
has not existed before. That is the essence of creativity. Asking what
result do I want to create signals your consciousness to engage
creatively. ??If you have downloaded my eCourse or read my special report
you know the power of creating structural tension. (Click
here to check it out.)
It is important to know where we are relative to
where we want to be. This discrepancy creates a tension that we can
utilize to fuel the actions that will take us to our goals.
We want to get into motion. An object in motion
tends to stay in motion. If you are pushing a wheelbarrow filled with
bricks, in the wrong direction, it is easier to guide the wheelbarrow to
where you want to go once it is in motion than if you were beginning with
a stationary wheelbarrow. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to get
started, and much less to keep things going.
As soon as you have an inspiration, ground it in
action, in the moment. For at that moment you have momentum. If you commit
to following through it will lead you to the first step, the second step,
the next and the next. Get the wheelbarrow moving and you begin to build
momentum.
Momentum is built on action. When you act you create
energy. This energy can then be directed.
We act - observe results - learn from our results -
put in a correction and act again.
Most people fail to achieve their goals because they
never take the first step. Momentum is just getting the wheelbarrow
moving. Once you get started in a particular area, as long as you keep
energy going, you will begin to get results and results feed themselves.
When is a good time to start?
Now!
Make a phone call, send an email, book an
appointment, enroll in a class, get a mentor or a coach–do what it takes
to get you in motion. Otherwise, next week, next month, next year, you
will be sitting here reading this newsletter wanting what you want without
having moved one inch closer to your dreams.
Action translates dreams into reality. What actions
will you take to bring your dreams into reality??

HIRE ME
One of the good things about the current economic
climate is that we have the opportunity to get creative and try new
things.
Trying new things and creating opportunities for
learning, support, and growth are essential for success no matter what the
financial weather.
If you have ever wanted to either work with me
one-on-one, or join one of my live classes, but for some reason were not
able to make that happen I have a suggestion:
Create your own coaching group!
Gather a group of friends, colleagues, siblings,
whoever, and create your own Living by Design Coaching Group. Imagine what
fun we'll have focusing on your goals and dreams while creating a network
of support and encouragement that lives on beyond our coaching calls.
Perhaps you and a work group have a project you'd
like support for. Or you and your sibling want to bond through learning.
Or maybe you and your friends want to learn and grow together.
If so, as a group you can hire me and share the cost
amongst many. Sounds like a win to me.
