"The best way to predict the future is to
create it.".
~ Peter Drucker ~

THERE
IS A DIFFERENCE
Instead of learning how to create what we want, most
of us have been taught to react to the circumstances we find ourselves in.
We may even become very successful in responding to people, situations or
circumstance.
Yet there is a difference.
There is a difference between responding to outer
circumstances and creating. Creating is bringing into being something you
want. Something that did not exist before you created it.
Creating is not a response to circumstances, which
is moving from the outside in, a reaction to what is occurring out there.
Creating is an inside out endeavor. To be creative is to ask, "What
do I really want?" and then to focus on creating those results. What
is created starts from within.
Let's look at an abridged version of the Recipe for
Living by Design (full version found in my free special report and eCourse
found at my web site).
1. Conceive of what you want - create a vision
2. Make a neutral assessment of where you are
compared to where you want to be
3. Take action in the direction of your goal
4. Observe the results of your actions. If they took
you closer to your goals - do more of that. If not, try something else.
5. Build momentum by taking consistent action
6. Keep going until you create the result you want
The cool thing is you don’t have to believe you
can do this. You can practice and find out for yourself what is true. You
will change your belief as you produce concrete evidence that you can
create what you want. All you have to do is participate in the process and
find out for yourself.
And don't give up. Creators don't give up
So, what do you want?
What do you really want?
And are you willing to choose to create it?
