“Reality does not need your acceptance of it to
be true,
but it does require your acceptance for you to enjoy its gifts.”

Harvesting
the Gifts by Leslie Karen Sann
Here we are at the end of another year and another
decade. When I look back ten years ago we were in the middle of the Y2K
fiasco. The one that never manifested.
Perhaps we can look forward to the future with
wonder rather than fear and imagine the good that can manifest if we
choose to focus on positive possibilities and take action to support our
vision.
A way to do this is to take time to acknowledge the
good that has occurred, the challenges met and overcome, the lessons
learned, the gifts received.
Choose to look back on some of the difficult
experiences of this year to discover how they helped you develop as a
person, how did they help you grow? This is provocative -- often it was
our enemies who were our greatest teachers -- or it was the hardest places
where we found our wisdom.
Notice how you responded to those challenges? Look
at your resiliency. How did you meet them? What helped you find your
center in hard times?
What do you now know about yourself that you hadn't
yet recognized? How have the experiences of this year, especially the
difficulties, strengthened you and shown you what is important? What can
you be grateful for?
As you do this process, you will be able to see your
resilience. This will help you discover a greater meaning for your life.
It can also give you guidance and insight as to how you want to move
forward.
To serve and support this process I have created an
action sheet: Stumbling Blocks to Stepping Stones - Harvesting the Gifts.
I find processing events and bringing them to completion releases energy
and creates clarity.

I trust you will take some time to review what has
been so you celebrate what you have learned and can see possibilities for
what can be.
Joyous blessings to you and yours now and always.
