"Rather than what you have left
undone,
focus on what you have accomplished.
~ Judy Wardell ~

TIME
TO REFLECT ON WINS
We're just past mid-year and now is a great time to
reflect on what you have accomplished thus far. Success is a process, not
an event. All big successes, big changes, begin with baby steps. When we
take the time to acknowledge the process and all the action taken,
successful or otherwise along the way, when we get to the finish line we
can truly take in what we have accomplished.
Time to Reflect on WINS
Take time to focus on what has worked. Notice what
has been accomplished, not what remains undone. When you acknowledge your
actions, your wins, you build a foundation of inner support and
self-confidence. You begin to trust yourself, knowing that you act in your
own best interests and on your own behalf. Knowing this, you begin to
relax into the beauty of your own friendship and support and life gets
easier.
I encourage you to take time, before you go to bed
tonight, to list at least FIVE positive changes you've made so far this
year. As a matter of fact, go for ten or even more. I bet if you hold the
intention of finding 10 you will do so and even greater.
Read the list in the morning and add to it if
anything pops into your mind. Notice how you feel. I bet you feel good.
If you like feeling good, do the exercise daily, on
a smaller scale. Write down 5 positive things, wins, successes that occur
each day.
When you commit to this as a daily practice, what
will happen is you will be programming the reticular activating system in
your brain to begin to NOTICE the good, the positive, the wins and
successes. Small successes breed bigger ones. The more you can acknowledge
the little wins, the more momentum you will build to create larger ones.
It all adds up. All of it matters. You matter. Act
like you matter. Notice the good, the blessings, the love, and write it
down. It's yours.
