PROBLEMS
ARE GOOD FOR YOU
I love learning new things. For me it's so much fun
to be able to do something just a short while ago I was in clueless land.
Recently I assigned myself the task of learning how
to design a web site with the software that came with my new laptop. My
friend and marketing mentor told me it couldn't be done. He was convinced
the software was too simplistic to support my needs.
I on the other hand REALLY wanted it to work. I
wanted to be able to put up an announcement for a class whenever I was
inspired to take action. Or offer a free downloadable product without
being dependent on my wonderful assistant.
Now I don't know about you, but sometimes I can be
stubborn by refusing to accept what is and insisting life should be the
way I imagine. I WON'T accept things as they are.
I call it arguing with God. The outcome's not
pretty. My choices are to a place of acceptance and therefore peace, or I
continue to suffer with my arguing.
Yet I wasn't arguing. I wasn't against anything. I
was FOR my vision, my intention, my belief in possibility.
My stubbornness was really tenacity for it was
sourced from I WILL. I WILL make this happen.
With the help of a computer wiz, my web coach, I
succeeded. As we were doing a high five he told me he hadn't been sure
what I wanted was possible. He said I pushed through the edges of what he
thought the software could deliver.
I'm dancing around the room. Yeah me! A BIG Win.

I feel like a kid coming home from school with a
picture I made in art class — all happy about what I created. Creativity
begins with a blank page. Nothing exists before we make it happen. We
choose to use our creative energy to manifest what we really want.
What is it you REALLY want?
Are you choosing to be a creative power in your
life?
Living by design is all about living as a creative
power, by choice rather than by chance.
