HOT OFF THE PRESSES:
When you sign up for the 5-week Living by Design
tele-course you are also invited onto a discussion board where we share
wins, ask for support, and folks can get coaching from me.
From a recent post:
"I just saw a commercial that talked about
ACTION and it was great! Unfortunately, I saw it out of the corner of my
eye but I can sum it up. A small group was in a cable car crossing a
mountain and it stopped. One of the men in the group took over and told
everyone to "think positive" and he was all hyped up about it
and how this can work. Another person, saw a button that said 'Start' and
then he pushed it and the cable car started up again. Then across the
screen the words appeared- ACTION MAKES THINGS HAPPEN. I think the creator
took Leslie's class!"
Yup, action translates dreams into reality. The cost
of the upcoming “Learning to Live by Design’ goes up midnight, August
31st. As the commercial says action makes things happen. Take action now!

FOCUSED
ACTION MAKES THINGS HAPPEN
In reality, we are never not in action, meaning we
are always in action. The people in the cable car in the cited commercial
were in action. They were involved in the action of sitting.
When you are sleeping you are involved in the action
of sleeping, and perhaps you are also involved in the action of dreaming,
and you are certainly in the action of breathing.
When someone says they are procrastinating, they are
really not languaging their reality accurately. What is true is they are
not taking actions that are moving them towards their desired result;
instead they are taking actions that produce some other result.
Similarly there is also no such thing as laziness.
In reality I am actions that do not support my stated goals. I am not
acting in accord with my purpose.
We are always either taking actions that are moving
us closer to our goal, or we may be taking actions that are moving us
further from our goal.
If I say I want to firm up my body and I sit on the
couch all day, or at my computer all day, at the end of the day I would
evaluate that my actions do not support my intentions, and as a matter of
fact they are undermining my goals.
We are never not in action. And every action creates
a result.
Here is where you can choose to be powerful, where
you can exercise your creative powers. Are you taking actions that produce
the results you want to experience? Or are you taking actions that produce
a result you say you do not want?
Clearly sitting in the cable car and visualizing a
result was an action, but not an action that produced the result desired.
The person that stood up and took tangible action in the physical world
produced the visualized result.
Visualization is a powerful tool and an essential s
tep in the creative power. But it is just the first step. We also have to
move our body and take the actions that will bring our visions into the
physical world we live in.
QUOTES
“Thought is useful when it motivates action and
a hindrance when it substitutes for action.”
~ Bill Raeder ~
PRACTICALLY SPEAKING
Notice where you are complaining that you are not
experiencing what you desire. Ask yourself a simple question:
“What is a next action I can take to move me
closer to what I want?”
Listen for a response. Take that action
WONDER
QUESTION:
Are you willing to do what it takes to turn your
dreams, your visions, your imaginings, into reality?
Are you willing to show up on this physical level
and do the work required to make what you want happen?
Are you willing push the START button and get your
life in motion?
