CONSCIOUS CHANGE STARTS FROM WITHIN
Meeting the Challenge of Change, Part 5

Change happens on a constant basis. Sometimes change in our lives occurs 'by accident,' meaning we had not been planning on the change. Other times we choose to change, we choose to involve ourselves with changing something over which we have dominion.

If you want to befriend change -- it helps to know the tools that will help you manifest what you want.

Change begins in the mind. All change comes from within. We think, imagine, dream, and then we take action.

As long as what you have imagined does not conflict with the way the universe works, you can make it happen, IF you support it with action.

So if you have the thought "I enjoy a loving ever deepening intimacy with my spouse," that thought does not conflict with any law of the universe. Nurture that thought, put your attention on it and SUPPORT IT WITH ACTION and it will have a high likelihood of coming into being.

If on the other hand you thought, "wearing clown shoes I can walk on water," you probably wouldn't find yourself successful the first time you walked off the pier, as that thought conflicts with the universal law of gravity.

The thought of enjoying more intimacy with your spouse is in harmony with the way the world works. So go ahead and choose what you want, nurture your intention, and support it with action.

Imagining what you want is the FIRST STEP of generating change.

So what do you want? Is what you want in harmony with nature? If so, GO FOR IT!

PRACTICALLY SPEAKING:

  • Notice where in your life you would like to make a difference
  • Ask yourself, what would need to change for me to have what I want?
  • Hold a vision of that change in it's completed state.
  • Is what you want in harmony with how the world works?
  • Allow yourself to feed that vision of change, hold it in your heart, nurture your imagination.

WONDER QUESTIONS:

  • What do you want?
  • Is it a universal possibility to have it?
  • If so, are you willing to do what it takes to bring what you want into your life?
